If you had $100,000, what would you do with it? If it were me, I would
immediately head over to 5th Avenue in NYC and have myself a little party! Well,
that is after I put away a considerable amount for my little guy of course. I
mean, he is a genius so he's sure to be an Ivy Leaguer. He is already reading
out loud at four months old! (Ok, so maybe not out loud, but trust me, he's
pondering the antics of Curious George very thoughtfully in his head.)Well, there are just a lucky few who will get the chance make their dreams a reality, and Ray2Scoops is one of them. He has the incredible honor of being named the 2008 Annual Sweepstakes winner! Not only is he taking home $100,000, but he also has the chance to bag $1 million! I was so psyched to get the opportunity to talk to him and find out how he felt when he got the news and learn what he intends to do with his windfall!
I
know...I am as shocked as you are about it. I really thought Tim and Pat were
trying to throw me off by telling me that I was ineligible. I mean, if I can't
win, then why not tell me who the winner is? I am a part of this team, am I not?
I mean, even though I show up late some mornings and take a two-hour lunch, does
that mean I deserve any less respect? (On second thought, don't answer that...)
Well, clearly it was not great news for me that I didn't
win. But how amazing is it for 
Even though we are only hours away from knowing for sure who the winner is, I am determined
to get the scoop now. And when I put my mind to something, I get it
done. Just ask the salespeople in Bloomingdales. I would not let them rest until
they gave me 25% off a gorgeous cashmere sweater even though I forgot to bring my special coupon. (Never walk away from a potential bargain, especially in this economy!)
As it turns out, I was able to glean a few more important
clues about who the Annual Sweepstakes winner is.

so it was clear I wasn't going to get any info from Pat the old-fashioned way.
And I since I need to keep my job here, petty threats were not the way to go.
That meant I needed to get a bit more creative. I devised a devilish plan that I
was sure would score me the winner's name. I secretly bugged Pat's office with a
hidden camera and microphone. You see, I knew he had a call with the other head
honchos to finalize plans for the big announcement. I snuck in there while he
was in the conference room licking envelopes and set it all up! Check it out:
I know many of you have been waiting with bated breath for
the announcement of our annual winner who could take home up to $1 million! I
have been on the edge of my seat dying to learn who that lucky scoundrel is! And
let's just say that although I have many fine qualities (modesty of course being
at the top of the list), patience is not one of them.
I tried getting the goods from Tim, our Vice President of Fun and Excitement,
who I know has the scoop. (Bet you didn't realize he is quite a bigwig over here. Better be nice to him!) Unfortunately, his lips are sealed (probably because he knows I
would immediately spill the beans to all of you.) So I decided to go on an
undercover mission. I tracked down Pat, IWON's CPO (Chief Prize
Officer). I told him that all you good-hearted gamesters would love to know
more about his job. It's the perfect cover for me to get those juicy details.
